What values do Taiwan share with Somaliland?

Well , somaliland used to be praised for it's democracy and tollerance, it was one of the few points that could convince the west to recognise them. Now they don't even have that , journalist are being arrested, opposition is crushed an the elections will probably be delayed. Somaliland is moving towards authoritarianism , they can say good bye to ictiraaf.
