I am not politically or in otherwise conscious about race and racism.. Even my cadaan co-workers and friends are wondering what I'm thinking about racism and issues related to it.. Is this good or bad? How much are you guys conscious about racism and race in your daily life?

@AbdiFreedom inspired me to make this thread with his claim regarding black privilege...

After the BLM protests i barely thought of race when im out and about nor has anyone tried talking about it apart from the black people i know of. Its not like no one cares about it but if you say 1 wrong thing or something against what the majority are thinking you'll be fuked.

Online is where i can't escape racial talks cause people are free to say whatever, thats why i don't like when people say don't believe whatever you see on the internet. It made me not be gullible and naive around people from other races/ethnics

To answer your question: race never comes to my mind except when seeing the race peddlers online.

I understand but I've personally never experienced racism from other black groups since I live in a country that doesn't have any AA's or Caribbeans living in it... But Ive noticed some arabs, turks and other groups of immigrants look down Somalis and some times it feels like they think they're higher than us...I don't usually get the same vibes from the cadaans who mostly dislike people based on religion rather than skin color...actually most cadaans are last racist to you when you are madow compared to arabs etc..

They also do not like Islam in any kind off way, they are just better at hiding it then all the other Europeans

They also call it "negerzoenen", in France (but with the french translation) but I think Sweden changed the name because it was too controversial.
Out of all other european countries I actually think that the Netherlands is the country that did the least amount of damage.
If you compare it to what the french, british, german, belgian etc... did in Africa and elsewhere.
Let's not forget that Ayaan Hirsi and Geert Wilders are also dutch (so I know that Islam has a bad reputation over there).
