I Miss the 90's

I took this (halal) meat out the freezer and I'm working on thawing it...

anyways, while I'm getting my stuff ready, tryna make myself breakfast and all....

this woman appears... I believe she came from the 90's

she appears in my head singing "all I wanna do"... and while I'm tryna get my stuff ready...

I remember "is have some fun"

I'm vaguely remembering this woman and I remember she sang "all I wanna do is have some fun, I have a feeling I'm not the only one"

I'm always having random 90's music pop into my head... on one hand, I'm thinking how idiotic those lyrics are and of course how I think they go against Islam, as we shouldn't be focused on pleasure, etc.

but on the other hand.... look how innocent those lyrics are compared to the lyrics of today... the song might be dumb but wow it's very innocent compared to today

same even with the gangsta rap and all that..... all the 90's music appears way less evil than the stuff of today....

and even look at the politics.... what was far left extreme left then
is today considered "conservative"

I think I had a song from like 2006 pop in my head and I thought to myself how thinga going on today would have been unthinkable in those days

anyways, 2006 isn't 90's but....

y'all, I miss the 90's
