We have to admit there are sporadic incidents, but with the massive presence of African Union troops and international organizations, things have been under control and development is taking place.
We take security as our top priority, there are min of 5 armed guards with our tourist group of 3 at all time, our selected hotels have blast walls and 20 armed guards at all time, although we are glad to tell you such measure has never been needed for any tourists we and our affiliates hosted.

Mogadishu is growing rapidly without urban planning or design direction. Mogadishu will get bulldozed, built, bulldozed, built and bulldozed and built again until we find ways for the government to establish unique Somali urban planning.

Now that the city has gotten at least 25-50x the size of it back then all that has been thrown out of the water. There was this tedx Mogadishu where an architect was talking about urban planning in Muqdisho you should check it out.

Mogadishu will cost too much to bulldoze and rebuild. Im banking on the prediction that 20-50km along the coast across from Mogadishu there will be a Mega city built in the future. It's easier to start from scratch. Just look how Nigerias new Mega city has moved the capital and created a playground for its capitalists
