they are Muslim + generally speak af-Somali. They are as much covered up as Somalis and keep their distant from other minorities (basically they act like Somalis)

Most speak a sub-dialect of Af Maay Maay. I wonder what they will teach their children in the West, since it is difficult to teach such a rare dialect to the next generation abroad. Even Af Maxaa diaspora kids speak their own language at a very bad standard.

I met a somali bantu at a masjid in oman, I thought he was zanzibari until he spoke af somali and he said he has a family in garowe

Bantus are a peaceful people idk why some somalis are moving like reer buurka caucas, nationality they are Somalis, we share same deen and same language

Diaspora is basically Hawiyes, Darood and Isaaq, sprinkled with couple reer djiboutians and cadcads.

Quite surprising there not being that many Rahanweyns in diaspora similar size as other clan groups. I did hear there are many in Sweden especially Gothenburg.
