chromebooks are good but not if you are working with lots of data like editing videos and storing music etc.

you can always buy a used MacBook Pro from offerUp or Facebook marketplace, just make sure it’s wiped clean, comes with a charger, battery is good and no dents. MacBooks are built to last decades while PC has a lifespan of 2 years.
