never. my night terrors were pretty bad in that i woke up screaming twice but i had zero recollection of what caused it and practically no memory of the fear afterwards. it pretty much only affected my brother who had the misfortune of living with me :russ:

those were years ago and once puberty was fully finished they pretty much stopped entirely. but being completely incapable of moving whilst being entirely conscious? :mjcry:
Lucky you, I know nightmares are bad but you can wake up and sort of forget about it, imagine opening your eyes, fully aware of your surroundings but you can't move or make a sound and something heavy is holding your body.

Basically I was in a dream and this girl was on top of me whilst I was laying down. :ahh:

It seemed so nice so I looked closer into the girls eyes and it was red and then transformed into a devil. It pounced on me and strangled my neck and held me down whilst I was gasping for air. I woke up but I couldn't move and felt this nigga still holding me down.

I made all of that up :chrisfreshhah:
I hope lucifer himself ass rapes you cawaa. Inshallah, Ameen, Alhamdullillah.

night terrors aren't nightmares. they're a different phenomenon entirely and we know virtually nothing about it.

but yeah paralysis sounds waay worse. only problem with night terrors is sometimes people have locomotive problems and they often jump out of bed as a result of their terror. but if that doesn't happen the only problem is scaring your family :cosbyhmm:

My sleeping schedule is nonexistent tbh. I experience it when I got things on my mind or Ive a deadline at work.

yeah that's why, sleep paralysis happens cuz your brain is very active in your sleep. That's why you experience weird lucid dreams.
This might help:

Treatments for sleep paralysis
Sleep paralysis often gets better over time, but improving your sleeping habits and sleeping environment may help.

It can help to:

  • get a good night's sleep – most adults need six to eight hours of good quality sleep a night
  • go to bed at roughly the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning
  • create a sleeping environment that's comfortable, quiet, dark and not too hot or cold
  • avoid eating big meals, smoking, or drinking alcohol or caffeine shortly before going to bed
  • get regular exercise (but not within four hours of going to bed)

Thanks I will try that, I am going to create a sleep schedule pretty soon.
Even with great sleep schedule it will still return. I experienced that. Although you could try for yourself too. lol@ this Dhegdheer that reads an article and thinks she knows it all.

My sleep schedule has been fucked up lately but I haven't experienced sleep paralysis. La xawla wa la quwata ila billah I have experienced it almost hardly ever since my Imaan increased.

Usually get it when I'm tired/stressed. It's the scariest thing ever!
It is Wallahi, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Rooble what are you saying? My imaan has decreased? :francis:

But seriously I experience it when I've a deadline or got a lot on my mind.

I'm impressed that you managed to recite Koran during paralysis.

Usually people are unable to find their voice and it's gone when they do.
Don't be a fool. I recited it in my mind, in my heart, my soul. Every fiber of my being was reciting the Holy Quran. I felt like Hercules, like I can conquer anything and everything. May the power of the Quran live with in all of us.
