I got tested because it’s free and encouraged where I live. I have no symptoms and I got tested just because I could. I had to reschedule twice because I didn’t think it was that important. I went in Sunday to a testing centre, had a 1 foot long cotton swab stuck up my nose 5 times and then asked to go home.

This morning I got a call from the covid centre in my city but missed the call. I couldn’t call the number and waited for a second call. My phone was on silent and when I checked at 5 pm, I had three missed calls and no voicemail (they have to make sure they are talking to me).

Then at 7pm they called, and after confirming my identity, told me I tested positive. Then they went on a two-minute instruction rampage, telling me to self-isolate etc. And that’s what I’m doing now.

I’m starting to think that either this thing is overblown or everyone has it.

This! Pretty sure half the people on here have it tbh. Think I might have it cus my mom’s been in contact with people who have it and she refuses to self isolate talking about “ ilhay ban naga ilanena”. It’s ridiculous. Eh may the best immune system win.

I have been having intense headache and dizziness for 3 days. I will go get tested tomorrow. You are fortunate enough to not have any symptoms while a portion of the population will die from it. Count ur blessings sxb and stay away from ur family to protect them. My friend just buried his dad, he was fine and recovering at home, then in a matter of 48 hours, he went from good to dying from complications. May Allah forgive his sins.

Sxb I was going to get test on monday and told my older brother about it, he told me not to get tested since I had no symptoms of whatsoever, when I asked him why not he said he believes some hospitals are actually getting people infected, it is conspiracy theory type thing but I wasn't willing to find out if it is true or not so I just cancelled my appointment.

It is a flu so very possible that the whole earth can get it

Don't get tested some swabs have the virus and will come out postive and they will put you in a room full of people with the disease.

No one in my family has excercised any sort of social distancing. My dad just came back from somalia so he’s forced to self-quarantine by law and we’re forced to wear masks in some establishments for services. But besides that we do whatever tf we want and have been doing it for the past nearly half a year and none of us have contracted anything.

My cousins had it and they progressed smoothly with no harm.

My battle with the rona is going well. Still asymptotic. Got a call from a nurse asking if I have fever and aches.
