I feel so sad tonight :(

A somali mother of ten was killed in a crash earlier. She was pregnant with her 11th and now her 10 living children are without a mother. All because some guy was high on pcp and driving the wrong way

the news has me depressed. I didn’t know her but thinking about 10 motherless kids all under 18 makes me feel so scared...like it could be anyone tomorrow

That's why you should seek refuge from sudden death. Even our prophet use to make Duas against sudden death. Imagine going out for groceries and never coming back, that would be devastating.

AUN sis, car accidents in MN are deadly lost a loved one to it, those kids will be fine inshallah the good thing about Somalis is we take care of our own, her relatives will look after them. She’s in a better place now. They should get a hefty money from the insurance of that guy and hers as well, and hopefully it goes to the kids. I encourage Somalis to write down a will, like if her mother is alive that would be the best person to have the money to go to.
