He gets over it. No woman is worth stressing for. I remember since childhood my dad used to tell me. If a woman gives you couple of kids, she don’t owe you anything. She can leave whenever she wants. Only the kids matter as I can’t stand another dude getting involved in my children’s life

Tell him to listen to Matthew hussey. He's a motivational speaker who helps people deal with relationships in every aspect. Actually there is this one video he made which he answers a question from a guy in the audience who has experienced heartbreak. In his answer he gives the most straight forward, inspirational, eye opening realization of someone suffering over someone who they thought was the one for them but says this person couldn't possibly be the one if they walked out on you. It's true, listen this woman who has walked out on your friend probably did him the biggest favor. He's of course hurting, as you said hes been in bed, but with time he will probably realize he is better without her. People sometimes are only meant to be in ur life for a season to show you a lesson and move on, sadly maybe this is what the woman has been to him. A life lesson, that he will learn from and it'll make him a better person for another woman who will show him better and be a better spouse for him in every way.
That's false to think that way or to believe that.
Her reason for divorce is simply because she grew apart from him!! It seems ridiculous and as an excuse but honestly that happens. Sometimes in a marriage one person feels they've outgrown the other and they seek to be alone or to discover another person who attracts their interest. I think instead of her asking for divorce and taking off she should have discussed with him what she needs from him or what she needs in the marriage to at least try to save it. It seems cold hearted to just simply ask for divorce and not give much of an explanation.
