If this embarrassing event for the nation is the thing that makes the Somali people finally seek true self-reflection then I'm not too sure I'd be satisfied with that. Are we going to reform the character of our deplorable society just because we were embarrassed at an international athletic competition or because we genuinely care about our fellow Somalis and the prosperity of our nation?
