I'm not a political guy, but the lady simply lacks the capacity to articulate herself. She should have said that his questions can be answered, but that these lines of questioning is the reason trans people feel isolated enough to commit suicide, because it implies that they don't exist.

She could have said that pregnancy is related to sexual organs and specified her perceptions on the distinction between sex and gender, to add clarification.
