She mentioned that since she has a very bad relationship with her immediate family, her extended ones don't like her. Also, it seems a lot of her siblings are half and pick on her. Wallahi, I love @CALMONE20###, she doesn't deserve this. I think she should try going to a domestic abuse shelter once she comes home. If you see this, please don't give up on life. Abaayo, your worth it and whatever illnesses you have don't make you less of a person.
Subhanallah, they probably believe the lies her mother spouted, but surely seeing a mother take pictures of her undressed daughter would make them see that the mother is unhinged. How can normal people think that’s okay? Somalis tend to blame children for the reason their mother beats and shouts at them, but you’d think a woman taking pictures of her own daughter would make them change their minds completely.

Parents got all the leverage back home, I remember when I visited me and my abo were driving past a prison and he randomly told me “I can get you locked up in there if I wanted”. All I was thinking was what kinda sick flex / power move is this.

Right, I don't know what's wrong with them. Thank god I live in the west where they don't take everything a parent says at face value.Parents got all the leverage back home, I remember when I visited me and my abo were driving past a prison and he randomly told me “I can get you locked up in there if I wanted”. He was obviously joking but it surprised me that older family members can send younger family members to prison for a short bit, no use of courts no justice just word of mouth.
