A few reverts might get disowned for being Muslim or marrying a Muslim, but most don’t. And those who do get disowned will probably reconcile with their families after they have children, as their parents will eventually come around.

You can’t just cut ties with your non-Muslim family members for no reason. It’s against our religion. Personally I wouldn’t want to have non Muslim in laws, who will have a relationship with my children. Who knows what type of influence they will have on them.

I personally know and understand the struggles and challenges of having to raise a child by yourself.

I try to speak in generality's most of the time but I've personally encouraged my wife to exercise with me. I taught her and my son how to swim, bike, rock climbing and rollerblading.
