Aussie, wish the guy good luck. I have a long memory. He’s brought it up several times, including the continuity of his struggle of wanting to pursue a scholarship opportunity his parents didn’t approve of.

Its a scholarship. free housing, free food and 7000$ to survive a semester offered by The Australian government.

Go for it bro, if it's only for a year, you'll gain valuable experiences and learn to live on your own. They may be positive or may be negative, but stagnation isn't the way to be the best version of yourself.
