I observed similar tendencies among Amazighs in France, Netherlands, and Belgium.
Course lost people can be found everywhere pretty sure every ajnabi community got well off kids who try act bad. Neighbourhood is 100% part off it im from a smaller town 300k where there is practically no criminality and the kids dont get groomed into gangs. In my area i can count the Somali kids involved in criminality with my fingers n were nearly 1500+ Somalis living here.
It is good to know you are being spared. It is acceptable to see a few odd ones wanting to transcend, and explore other cultures, but the tendency is remarkable to ignore.
I had good mates, who were of Indian, West Indies, and African extraction, but would never adopt their cultrues. Respect it of course, but would not replace theirs with mine.

Every single immigrant community suffers from such problems apart from those who could send their most educated n well off people (Indians). However it usually take a couple gen to recorrect those issues Serbs were known for their criminality in Sweden in the 90s and were extremly hated but have fallen off the radar now. However in the case off Marrocans their criminal organization is grooming from within, imagine a succesful Somali worldwide gang and its effect it would have on diaspora Somalis?

Hiphop culture is the dominating urban subculture in the west. Itβs associated with being cool and fun. When your a fob from Africa, fitting into society is hard. Nobody knows your culture and history. Your seen as geeky, corny, a fob and backwards. Imo African diaporas from the Caribbean and Africa , adopt the hip hop AA culture because itβs relatively looked at as cool in the west and western people are receptive to it. Why is it in Sweden Somalis be acting like AAs? Itβs because relative to Swedish society they make up the black population there.

I don't know much about Scandinavian somalis but one thing for sure is that they act more like madows than any somali diaspora, yall are even worse than reer Minnesota and reer UK combined. Ever scandi somali I've seen on social media all possess some sort of madow victim mentality, blm xalimos, ghetto faraxs etc.

Young boys born in the west who are not in their own country, raised in their own culture and feel like they are outside society will always create their own sub culture. When immigrants come to the west they usually stuff them all in council estate where the schools are failing, no rolemodels and after awhile gangs starts to form. However if we had a strong community this could all been avoided.

Agreed. I think Somali community in MN is relatively strong, but still one observes that culture surfacing in some pockets.
