Let’s say farmajo peacefully resigns and leaves Somalia in politically stable state. What happens if the country ends up in anarchy/chaos and al-shabaab starts gaining power again. Who’s is going to take accountability? Who’s fault will it be?

Remember he failed at his number 1 priority which was preparing the nation for a timely election. Having failed to do so, anything happens thereafter will be blamed in him

It wasn't his failure warya. Everyone knows who denied to hold elections, we both know it's not just up to the president to hold elections all FMS must be onboard.

I think he still has time hassan sheikh had a longer term then him and no one took arms and told him to leave. Farmajo only went past his term by a month in a half.

Looking back it's now clear Farmajo was actually the one holding everybody back. From day one we were saying 1p1V isn't possible. He ignored everybody and never done anything concrete to plant seeds for 1p1V. When Kheyre came back from Qatar and said No 1P1V, he promptly fired him. He half heartedly scrapped the 1P1V in favor of indirect voting. He walked away from the meeting in Dhusomamareeb and again in Moqadisho while everybody was there to make concessions. He went back and tried to force 1p1v by getting illegal two year extension , a grave mistake that sealed his fate
