I’m hitting a nerve because I’m telling the truth. This website once a month is a discussion like this about one or two twitter replies. Often the replies here result in insulting the persons ethnic group or making a “who are they to talk about us” comment often in a derogatory tone.
Yet when we do it people are supposed to approach it with nuance. You guys are being hypocrites

Where’s the correlation??? There’s a difference between people qrting vile racism shit towards Somalis over a hayat’s tweet vs people on here discussing blatant racism they’ve seen online it’s completely different. People had hit tweets mocking how they think we look it’s jarring.

People here make posts with over generalizations about another group over a few comments or tweets about us. Yet others are not allowed to do the same with us. They have to be nuanced in their understanding of Somali online behavior. It’s one or the other pick one.

Ive rarely seen people on here judge ā whole group genuinely over a couple tweets nobody is that dumb there’s a couple trolls on here too. Generalisations is never ok again it’s not about that people are being racist plain and simple. PEOPLE LITTERALLY MOCK SOMALI FAMINE VICTIMS WITH THEIR FACES UP FYMMMMMM. Let me be clear and rephrase. Kristallnacht is not happening to us. There is no mass targeted attacks against Somalis. I’m sure there are some individual events just like I’ve experienced, but we’re not under attack as a whole as a people in the western diaspora.

My point about anti blackness was about @Gracias and how their metrics to determine anti blackness were too narrow. We don’t deserve hate of course.

After the recent tweet by the Somali woman complaning about racism, you might have noticed africans attacking her and trying to counter-signal. Going so far as to say it's deserved. I commented in another thread the reason why! but for this thread I want to highlight the hypocrisy of africans ( particularly nigerians) and the cynicism of anti-blackness by aforementioned groups.
