@Dalac Bilaash When Somalis agreed to adopt the federal system, we deliberately chose a model of government where the federal government would be weaker than it had been in 1991. A weaker center is not a bug, it's a feature.
Xasan Sheekh wants to get rid of federalism without making it clear to the Somali people. He should come out and say "federalism has proved unworkable, I want to recentralize the country." Instead of doing this, he ignores the agreed upon constitution and edits it with bribed MPs.
Somalia will remain a failed state until federal gov politicians come to terms with the fact that federalism is here to stay, and that a strong centralized state is out of the question in the coming decades.
