A report was recently released looking at the politics of Gedo. Very pessimistic after reading this. Gedo could be an economic hub for Somalia connecting to the Ethiopian and Kenyan economies. It is deeply unfortunate for all Somalis that Farmaajo and Culusow have chosen to destabilize the region instead of facilitating negotiations between Jubaland admin and the state's elites.

With these 4 year terms it’s always like watching a show and then when it’s about to heat up

HSM will fail to remove Axmed Madobe just like Farmajo tried, a new president will come act friendly and then in his third year he will try to subdue the fms forgetting that his term time is nearly up…..and on and on we go again lol. Haven’t you guys read the playbook?
