@Maxamed bin Harti I am of the opinion PL isn't ready for democracy as it hasn't reached social-economic milestsones. U need this among your population as a 'pre requirement'.

1. Educated populace so their mentally 'free'
2. Financial secure population so they can be independent not tied to 'clan insurance'

When both those requirements are met, then u need the political class to sit down on philosophy-idealogies and divide themselves, then it's a matter of parties setting programs-goals following their idealogy-philosophy so you know their based on 'ideas' not 'identity or money'. That's proper democracy, but im afraid all were going to get is an african democracy.

But I won't stop PL from democracy. But heed my warning so when u see in 10 years what 'grade' of democracy you have.

I won't ever be a politician becuz of my family 'isim role'. But if I was, I would step down if the president removed me and always 'assess' the climate before any protest, I would always present a consistent 'message' so people know what I stand 4 and die 4.

Most importantly I would never fight the govt or protest it, that's political suicide for you and your kids future, step down peacefully, u have better chance in the future when people 'remember' that. Why u all of sudden angry n causing troubles when u lose a post but was smiling when nominated? they think ppl r blind or stupid

U have to remember it's not your govt, it's the public govt, your simply a 'servant' to them not a 'ruler' becuz it's not wax adigu aad lee dahay. I would reject siyad barre customary singing n songs n 'worship lines'.

I noticed so many young people in Puntland think the only way to service their communities is via politics/public service. To the point that they’ll only get economics/polisci/law degrees. The ministry of Education should facilitate career days and job shadowing to introduce different career paths for Puntites.
