A private jet landed in Dhusamareeb and flew the President to Djibouti.
Upon arrival, President Hassan immediately met President Ismail Omar Guelleh (IOG). Sources close to Presidents Hassan Sheikh and Bihi tell Daljir that this trip is the culmination of previously discussed and agreed upon plans between the trio.
Again as we have reported on 25th of August, since the trouncing of Muse's army in the hands of SSC-KHATUMO, one option that has since been agreed with Muse Bihi has been achieved. That option was to ignore the SSC front and concentrate on Gacan Libaax and the Garxajis armed movement. With Garxajis now fully in the fold and disarmament of the Garxajis underway, the trio are to set the tone for the coming aggressive actions against Puntland and SSC-KHATUMO.
For the destabilization of Puntland which has already been agreed on, there two options on the table to be expanded on and executed:
1. Release of remaining funds estimated at around $15 million to disrupt Puntland elections. Sources are telling Daljir that once funds are released, the Aaranjaan group is to set to begin their destabilization efforts. In addition, one major Puntland political party will then join Aaranjaan group to help unseat President Deni
2. Similar to the 2016 failed al-Shabaab invasion of coastal Puntland during President Hassan Sheikh's first term, once again squeeze highly mobile and fully armed brigades of al-Shabaab towards coastal Puntland. Sources within Puntland security are already warning of such a scenario and are pointing out to untouched brigades of al-Shabaab in Mudug and with quick access to coastal Puntland.
Just yesterday, Abdirahman Abdishakur in Mudug threatened that "if Galmudug unleashed al-Shabaab onto Puntland, there will be no football games to play and no championship to celebrate for."
On SSC-KHATUMO front, one plan for the trio led by President IOG that has already been in the works, and as we have already reported, are led by SSC-KHATUMO parliamentarians and Ministers in President Hassan Sheikh's cabinet. Their plan is said and reported to be to convince SSC-KHATUMO to sever relations with Puntland and start negotiating with Somaliland. That plan has utterly failed, but the destabilization of SSC-KHATUMO goes unhindered.
Just last week, President Hassan Sheikh sent the largest delegation of parliamentarians led by Senator Timacadde, Deputy Speaker of the Senate. Sources are telling Daljir that with a promise of the premiership, Senator Timacadde was to negotiate a way out of Somaliland prisoners of war. But that too, with heated words exchanged between Khatumo leaders and Timacadde, failed. However, sources are telling Daljir that it isn't success that is being desired from these negotiations, but to create chaos and disharmony within SSC-KHATUMO.
Meanwhile, with President Hassan and IOG together in Djibouti, while social media rumors are rampant that Muse Bihi will soon join them, no confirmation as of yet that he too will join this latest Djibouti meeting.

I watched that video. That guy is a fool. He probably doesn't understand that Shabab only thrives in a region where they get support from the local clans. Shabab knows that it is a suicide mission to send a large scale of forces to Puntland. Because they will not get support from reer Puntland and PL forces will destroy them just like in 2016. If he thinks Galnus's recent anti shabab "operation" is what's keeping PL safe, then he is dumber than I thought he was.
I've heard HSM is planning to send Hamsa directly to Las anod without Puntland consultation. In his narrow thinking, he's trying to create tension between Puntland and SSC Khatumo. SSC-Khatumo has the right to welcome the PM to Las Anod in good faith, but the real motive is to create division among Harti brothers. Puntland will surely not approve PM Hamsa bypassing them without mending relationship between the Somali republic and Puntland. The best move to counter this is to trust Puntland and ask the PM to first announce that his government will recognizing SSC-khatumo as federal state first, otherwise it will be just mere igu sawir with devastating affect on Puntland-ssc-Khatumo relationship.

as for recognizing SSC, it puts hawiye in a dilemma, sure we can recognize SSC with the condition being a third hawiye FMS, but that also open up another can of worms for us since we would have to delicately create another hawiye state that doesn't cause internal division. we genuinely perfer the current FMS set up.
what HSM is doing now is just stalling, the issaq rout was a genuine shock, and I believe he and many other HAG politicians are waiting and seeing if Issaq prepare a counterattack and if Harti can hold lascanood before doing anything such as recognizing SSC. We are also busy trying to defeat alkebab in our states so the SSC issue isn't really a top priority for us at the moment.
as for this visit to djibouti, it most likely has to do with HSM asking the 1k djibouti troops in somalia to stay a bit longer so it can free up more SNA manpower for operations in the central states.
