This is quite typical and standard by SFG to interfere with money given to their candidate to bribe the parliament. They repeat this tactic every 5 years, but if we look at has it produced their desired result of making PL submit to SFG. Well no. The SFG must analyze why, not repeat failed tactics.

The problem facing the SFG is 4 layers on why it can't get some puppet leader into PL.

1. Constitutional. This is the LAW of the land in PL and it will never be changed doesn't matter who runs for President.
2. Parliament. Even tho susceptible to bribe on short-term matters, their not bribable on 'aspirations or masiri matters' of it's people future.
3. The great ISIMO, thank god we have this final protection who will intervene if the people's future and aspirations is going in a direction against it's founding principle and they hold official reserve powers.
4. A well informed populace in the diaspora/locally who are united by their 'masiri' politics.

The problem facing the SFG is they don't know that aspirations n politics is different. It's very difficult to change ppl united behind an aspiration and political goal and exchange a bribe to a leader or MP. They will just take your money and give u false promises becuz of the above factors. Plus once the SFG candidate is publically known, it will force people to vote for the non SFG candidate to stop SFG influence. So I don't expect HAGS to have new strategies.

1. The president will be rushed by elites for posts or recommendations for others into posts and business elite for contracts. Once the personal interest is over. He will see the constitution-the parliament-well informed populace-ISIMO as one united bloc on 'masiirka n mustaqbalka PL', he will cave in and realize it's impossible to change PL masiirkooda to fall in-line to SFG and he will switch to begin a 'war front' on the SFG as all previous candidates do

2. Once the puppet is known of the SFG, this will give an automatic edge to the opposition candidate.

Both have tremendous track record either locally or federally/regionally and leave behind a measurable legacy. I prefer candidates to have bottom-middle experience before presidential aspirations, you need a damn CV like everyone does with their work.

But I fear the candidates the SFG is backing useless guys with no track-record proving their just there for personal interest cuz they leave behind no legacy.

The SFG think these personal interest guys can hold PL hostage to their personal interest while it works it's interest in the background, but thank god we got 4 layer structure that forms as a strong defence.

Not a good analysis and poor judgement. This conflict has been 'static' since 2009, this isn't a leader issue, but a correct analysis is it's more 'federal aspiration and unsettled constitution', that make sense becuz it seems to follow each leader post 2009. We dont worship infallible PPL like the southies who lack the 'social-traditional-political-constitutional layers' we have. We worship systems n rule or law not unpredictable and fallible ppl.

No, there has been a lot of progress in the past decade. PL and FGS have signed a lot of agreements on power sharing, finances, security. Most of the remaining issues can be solved if we had cooperative FGS and PL Presidents.
