JL/PL press conference had far reaching effects on the country's politics. The HAG opposition umbrella in Mogadishu mean nothing tbh, they're not FMS heads or even MPs most of them. The election laws can only be discussed and agreed upon by the FGS and FMS.

Farmaajo did follow the constitutional roles and responsibilities. President has to be elected by the people(1m1v direct or indirect parliamentary), however the PM office is appointed by the president and then has to be given a vote of confidence on top of that by the sitting parliament of the day. HSM wants to remove the Parliament involvement and oversight powers which PL will never allow as this is dangerously concentrating power in the presidency and this can lead to a dictator emerging or the conditions are ripe for it.
PL opposition is never clan based but more so breaching constitution or misappropriation of federal powers with regional or political culays motives(tayda yeel ama dawlada awoodisa baan ku adeegsana Somali way ka daashay this 1969 to 1991 kacaan style culture to politics), Somalis need to get rid of this commy style dictator flavour to their politics(it didn't work for siyad who actually had a proper govt, why they assume it will work for a tabar daran Somalia beggars disbelief).

It's like PL gotta teach these clans basic state matters(PL definitely is a mum to these other clans).
