Is it true that also in dugsis in western countrys the macaliin got that beating Stick?
But u learned the quran thoThank goodness you’ve never been there it varies though some are good some are bad
Quran that I spent years on that I forgot because of the hatred and depression they gave meBut u learned the quran tho
Cant say Something like that
That’s why I am grateful I know Arabic and don’t take it for grantedThank goodness you’ve never been there it varies though some are good some are bad mine was just a nigga who sat there for hours drinking shah while the kids would read their ashiir you would only get 2 chances you fail the first you either stand or go back to your seat it depends on his mood the second you will be beat with a thicc stick and if you talk to your classmates macalin will pinch you tens of times or some other shit
it still annoys me that they thought kids that didn’t even know basic Somali could memorize a whole Arabic Book that is much harder then basic Somali we didn’t even understand what they were teaching us we just read ink in a page a waste of time to be honest
It also lead me to a path of atheism for a while as well beating innocent kids for not knowing Arabic especially when we have to deal with shit like waking up in the morning to school then leaving at 3PM then going to dugsi at 5PM and leaving at 8PM I never got a schedule as well
One time I had to stay there until 11PM because I didn’t know my ashiir they don’t even teach you they expect you to memorize that by yourself
I read the Quran out of fear and hatred not out of love thanks to a bunch of bums one time I wanted to plan suicide as well because of the shit they put me through I failed a few classes just to finish a page so that I wouldn’t get hit but it is what it is
I wished I could speak and read arabicThat’s why I am grateful I know Arabic and don’t take it for granted
Reading the Quran while knowing Arabic is so much for different and it’s like u understand it and there are stories and shit
Alhamdulilah I had a chance to learn this lang

I’ll probably go back to living in a Arab country again probably Qatar or something (no way I am going back To the uae)

Pretty useless, you spend hours in a cramped room learning something you will easily forget.
It's better you just learn on your own and listen to Sh Umal for translation.
It’s milacamo not dugsiThank goodness you’ve never been there it varies though some are good some are bad mine was just a nigga who sat there for hours drinking shah while the kids would read their ashiir you would only get 2 chances you fail the first you either stand or go back to your seat it depends on his mood the second you will be beat with a thicc stick and if you talk to your classmates macalin will pinch you tens of times or some other shit

I used to go, I quit. It’s dirty, stinky and they don’t know how to discipline students. Is it true that also in dugsis in western countrys the macaliin got that beating Stick?
My macalin beat my brother for not passing his ashir, he got beat upI went a long time ago, everyone was friends with each other and use to banter around.. whenever someone got whooped everyone will laugh and sometimes the person getting whooped will be laughing himself.
Eventually the beatings stopped as the maaclins realised what they were doing bought no benefit.
