These parents push their ideologies into their kids. Telling Somaliland and say that it doesn't exist. It may not be sovereign but its does exist. They even say it isn't on a map (on some). They tell their kids that the Xamar are superior and intelligent saying that they can govern all Somaliweyne themselves.

This must stop.

One man said that Somalia existed before the Italians came. He said Djibouti was apart of it. He didn't believe the Afars existed and was a folklore his parents told him calling them the savage people who are uncivilized.

Somaliland exists, it's a state of Somalia that just refuses to work with the government, just like most other states. However, unlike other states, it claims to be its own ethnicity and is trying to get independence.

It’s not good to spread baseless lies.

This kid is from xamar, look at his wrist. Stop with this nonsense propaganda

SomalilandExit from the Commonwealth to which the Britain responded that they are “a useless barren land colony” anyway :drakelaugh:we wuz protectorate :dead:

Don't confuse things. It has nothing to do with Somaliland being a barren land. Somaliland and Somalia were both allowed in the late colonial era (1940-1960) to form political parties and a parliament. The end of the colonial era were only a matter of time, because of the global changes that came with the second world war. Every colonial state would have become it's own independent country. The political parties in Somaliland instigated talks with the ones in Somalia and around the years 1957-1960 the union was agreed upon.

Since Somaliland was a British protectorate it had a legal claim to be part of the common wealth, but after the union with Somalia in the 1 July 1960 they lost that claim. The new formed Somali republic was not a British colony, but the union of a British and Italian colony.

Lol they wanted the Brits to stay?

They didn't. The Somaliland parliament and political parties, as i stated in the post before, pushed talks with Somalia to unite the states after they would have gotten their independence from Britain and Italy. It was overall a wrong decision.

There are two famous incidents about Somaliland pushing the union with Somalia.

1) The Garaad (Sultan) of the Dhulbahante tribe advised the people of Somaliland to rethink their union with Somalia. The people told him: "La ya Garaad (No oh sultan)". Ask every Northener about this famous sentence.

2) Also famous was the Somaliland politician Mikel Mariama who told the people of Somaliland to have at least for a few years their own state, before they unite with the Somalia. The people rejected him and called him snake and made some funny sayings about him. Something like "maska Mikel Mariama.....".

Why I feel superior to Isaaq is their history started with 'the whiteman' like most African countries, where-as mine didn't and was a lengthy boqortoyo. Untill these differences are acknowledged, I do not see much hope in PL/SL peace deal.

Sxb adigu waxad wax noqotay marku niin gaal yimi aniguna dawlad ahaa intusan imaan. European geopolitical war didn't create me, I existed as proud kingdom. That's my only beef with SL. I do not start my history with the colonialist, I only start my history with colonialism is because I was dumped into this nation even though we vehemently opposed it, our kingdoms barbarically attacked and bomed. Surely someone who wants u won't be bombarded like that.SL wanted Somalia is the truth, noone forced them. PL/Makhir, however didn't. If anyone stands a claim for secession it's PL based on historical consideration and assessing the evidences.

Astaghfirullah,

No one is superior we live we die the only thing that matters is if you lived your life according to the tenants of Islam for jannah or committed to much sin to end up in jahannam
