Let's say every part of the world dropped the current notion of currency to their detriment to manipulate the idea: you'd see a great change in the world order where resource-poor countries would invade developing recourse cursed countries to take their shit.
A direct transactional hunter-gatherer method of trade with the current organizational structures would result in immense uneven distribution of resources and IMO deprive people of their perceived best means of self-preservation because highly doubt we would see any real equitable arrangements where all parties agree without one enforcing power.
We find money to be more efficient/effective as opposed to heavy objects, which makes it a good social construct, where price is the value forced on you by the nature of how people act.
