This would probably just help Somalis stop fighting each other and unite against a common enemy. No matter how near sighted these qabiil bashers are they can at the very least know what will happen if they fight each other while an enemy fights both of them.This would be against Ethiopia and Kenya's interest. Their best bet is to fuel more internal conflicts to further cripple Somalia, but they have to do it subtly. Which I'm 80% sure they're doing right now. Not to mention even if they do somehow beat the Somali military to successfully annex they must either appease all rebellions (won't happen) or kill every single last one. All of these would make it extremely difficult to annex Somalia.

Somalis will fight over who will be the dilaal like in Somali Galbeed and as we see now in Somalia.

somalis would be much stronger as smaller states with mutual defence pacts that are not on an arms embargo. There is no paranoia, this is a what if statement. Nowadays it is extremely difficult to annex a country even with military because of the UN. OP is simply asking if there was a war how would it end up.
