1. Train, feed and pay the military/police VERY WELL. This will insure loyalty and dedication to the cause and prevent spy’s.

2. Make an Elite division of Milatary and Police who’s sole mission is to HUNT Al-Shabaab 24/7. They should not do anything else. Watch them Xaar themselves, be nutrient and sleep deficient just by thinking about this.

3. Have an effective and efficient civilian reporting system of spies and exposers. This is a male or female in every neighbourhood who’s actual job it is to monitor and look after their neighbourhood for any suspicious activity or conversations. Walaal, he or she could be sitting next to you in your local khat spot. Watch what you say!

This is my top 3. I have more which relates to vehicle immobilisations, economy and peacekeeping which all expedite the destruction of these parasites.

Anyways, regardless if they are; they're aren't doing their jobs correctly so we don't need them.

Let's replace them as often as we change prime ministers.

Hopefully we might end up with a competent leadership at NISA if we kick them out if they don't show progress within 6 months.

How long does it take to put together a simple information network by bribing normal civilians?

1 million dollars over a year would gain you a thousand informants all across major AS regions.

Another million could get you hundreds of top level insiders in AS biggest tax payers like Hormuud and other large companies in Somalia.

Use that intelligence to cut of their funding sources at the top by following the money and on the ground by uncovering all their supply routes for day to day supplies.

Take off their legs and they'll be forced to crawl.

Before they have a chance to regroup and organize alternative options you have some space to build out more comprehensive systems.

Since 2006? Sounds like someone needs to be imprisoned for incompetence as well. Head of security MUST have similar term times as the president. This also allows new talent to take the helm.

I agree with you, I also want to add a strong intelligence agency. Nisa works along side the CIA and other foreign countries. How could your own spy agency be working with another country within the interests of its nation. It’s ridiculous Walahi. Another thing also would be to track down who is funding al shabaab. The Somali government should know what’s coming in and out of the country.

There should be more opportunities for young people who are more prone to joining al shabaab.
