My hair is like 3 meters saxiib it grows extremely fast since i have always cut it, But it has never grown downwards only up wards, Apparently the old somalis used to style it in a way so it grew downwards

Grow your hair first. once it is long enough when you wash your hair make sure you do a straight parting in the middle of your hair with a comb. Then brush each side down, apply a leave in moisturiser for the hair and use your hands to gently smooth your hair down into place. This involves flattening your hands and just patting your hair down. When it dries it will stay in place.

if you want hair like the guy in your picture you just take small parts of the hair and use Your hands to twist it from top to bottom.
