I went from 4’11 freshman to 5’11 senior just from eating more wallahi.

I started stuffing myself and force feeding myself, funny part is I didn’t even get much fatter, all the calories went straight to my height.

Here’s how it went:

Grade 9 2017-2018 year: 4’11 - 5’1

summer of 2018: 5’1 - 5’5 (grew 4 inches in the span of 2 months, I had joint pains on my knees and stretch marks everywhere)

grade 10 2018-2019: 5’5 - 5’7

grade 11 2019-2020: 5’7-5’9

grade 12 2020-2021: 5’9 - 5’11

this is all barefoot height btw, with shoes on I’m like 6’1 lol. I remember how quickly my life changed after my growth spurt, my confidence went up so high too.

When I first hit the 5’6 range I realized I was taller than most adult women, it was crazy to me because just 4-5 months ago I was 5’1 and shortest everywhere. So on the bus or train station Id straighten my back just to see over the tops of their heads LOOOL, I did the same in school as well. This actually helped me fix my posture.

When I hit 5’8-5’9 I realized people didn’t call me short anymore or pointed that out. I was actually grateful for my height and always cringe when I see guys 5’7-5’9 complain about their height because I know it could have been A LOT worse for them.

Now I’m turning 18 soon and still growing, hopefully I can squeeze out a couple more inches and reach 6’2 inshallah. But even now everytime I meet up with friends or family, they always have to tell me how tall I’ve gotten, Ive had the most dramatic change in height in my family.

Nah I started puberty late my doctor told me I’ll finish puberty at 21.
