There are scholars who go to universities to learn in the knowledge of Quran and Hadith just like the same way that there are scholars who devout their lives to study the Bible or Torah.

If you ask any of them if they're scriptures are preserved they will obviously say yes.

Also the reason why Allah sent down the quran was because the previous books had been corrupted. The quran is the final book that cannot be corrupted. So you can go ahead and try to change it.

The qurans compilation started during Abu baker's time as caliph. And if you need proof that the quran has been preserved since the prophet's time then go check out the Quran that was found in Birmingham university that's been carbon dated to between 568 and 645 CE.(The prophet died 632 AD) so the quran found could've been written during the prophet's time

Killing apostates is part of Islam, but it's supposed to be done by the government so we can't kill people in our family because they left Islam. Also, there is a hadith that says when a man apostated, the prophet(pbuh) gave him an option to just leave the country, I think that should be the law instead of killing them.

And then there is the case of someone from my clan who got away with murder. The victim's family was forced to take blood money. It's fake news that they get a choice in the matter. Only 0.01% of high profile cases will get the death penalty. I was outraged.

Even Agnostic/Atheist Somalis from the big four are untouchables in Somalia, there was a distant uncle of mine, he was a HS teacher and used to mock Islam and Hijab in front of all us, our parents and relatives use to make excuses for him,Kulahaa 'Waa khafiifay because he read too many philosophy books in Lafoole".
