How our president H.E Hasan Sheikh Mohamud can foster unity among Somali people

The federal government should promote sports among the Somali youth. There should be the creation of a national soccer league that consists of the top 18 largest towns in Somalia. To do this, basic sports facilities should be set up in each participating city or town.

The national team should be given first class facilities and recruit talent from Somalis playing in America and Europe. There should be an overhaul of the corrupt FA that has destroyed our record and an entirely new management that answers directly to a sports czar.

Large projectors should be setup in public so people can follow the local teams and the national team as is done throughout the world on match days.

If we had a Somali Premier league or a Somali power league it would actually transform the country. Eighteen states is what we currently we have, and if each state is given two teams it will bring a total of 36 teams participating from all over Somalia. We should have two leagues. Somali premier league where the top 18 teams go head to head, and a Somali power league sorta like Serie B also 18 teams participating. I want Baardheere FC and Beled Hawo United in the Somali premier league so I can tell Rer Serie B to shut up

Each team would need their own stadium and i’m stuck on where the funding would come from? Perhaps 1 stadium per gobol and the teams can share that stadium a bit like what the milan clubs do. Somali Serie A cannot be played on bacaad

Teams in the TOP 18 division should have their own stadiums, funding should also be provided by their states, they don’t necessarily have to be up to date or even modern but grassrooted stadiums should be the norm and requirement for any team participating in “Seria A.”

Good idea. Football tends to bring people together. Every male aged 10-45 goes crazy when it comes to the xamar district as well the state games. Imagine if it was more coordinated and the leagues were more inclusive of the nation
