Renting the hall for the wedding is 15k minimum. Now add it food cake live music 20k and let not for get her ring 25-30k. Giving money to family God knows. Sxb you'll be in it for ,60-80k. How I know they my cousin did a wedding,6 months ago he spent 77k and he showed me how much was stuff cost. It's not a jk

Even men who are poor get the gold set they can afford. It is a huge disgrace in our culture for a bride to have no gold.

A set of gold is fine but these days you see a hoard of aunties from grooms family each carrying a bag with large amount of gold well before the wedding, like some kind of ritual. this never used to happen and is something new tbh
