Yeah I assume that was the peak of our military in 1977, I won’t be surprised if it where max 100k troops including WSLF which was basically a Somali army as well just a different name.

They inflated SNA numbers to make their victory more impressive. It was a much needed political victory for Hailemeriam at the time.
It could be possible that the Ethiopians were inflating the numbers to dramatise the Somali invasion as overwhelming.
