Actions speak louder than words and so far hassan has done more for the country than xaarmaajo the marqaan
he has some bright aspirations for Somalia and he’s gone from distancing from turkey/eritrea to going back to them. So he’s been better since that happened. He’s not a terrible president, we could have had worse. However….
•He set the country back a few notches with the new foreign mission AUSSOM he agreed to after atmis, when atmis was supposed
•piracy returned under him after they were gone for 5 years
•clan feuds at an all time high
•stalled war on AS with them looting a large amount of government weapons (this never happened during farmaajo’s term)
•our passport has gotten weaker with institutions being able to trust it less due to corruption
•nepotism
•lack of qualified ministers undertaking their positions
•poor foreign policy where the president meets low ministers and measly generals
•arms embargo being violated more than ever before
farmaajo got us debt relief, arms embargo being lifted, widerspread education, rebuilt public institutions for Somalis to learn and enjoy themselves more (library, museum, stadium, theatre), got us the highest class airspace which means our airspace authority can’t be questioned (classA which is responsible for 80% of international flights with over 330 airlines), provided baaxnano which is welfare (it was made to reach every Somali nationwide, so the FGS was slowly expanding it and there was a few thousand families who got it every month, it never reached its full potential, because Hassan cut this, which is one of the many reasons he’s a horrible individual as a person to me), reopened and renovated a large chunk of our current diplomatic missions in the world (embassies). There’s more regarding teachers, SNA, and student scholarships he accomplished.
