Impossible to accurately know, probably 15-30 million though from 1870-1960. The Congo getting the worst of it.
Honestly it's probably more, a big reason European governments went full hippy mode after 1960 and have so much guilt over it means they did some shit we don't even know about.

With Somalis the ratio is particularly skewed towards us killing each other. So blaming the white man for our problems is really pointless.
That’s cos we weren’t ruled by foreigners for any long length of time.
Also Somalia was effed by decolonisation (as in borders).
Blaming the white man in Somalia is stupid but a lot of Somalias problems come from Somalis falling for the tactics set up by the white man.

I honestly think Somalia is unique in that it destroyed itself far more than outside forces did.
For countries like DRC the postcolonial analysis is far more valid, but Somalia should be analyzed from a postmooryaanism prism.
The Mooryaanimo that we saw in 1991 was completely our fault but the Italians/British had a hand.
Siyaad Barre was a colonial product who largely continued the colonial-era practice of divide and rule, preferring smaller clans to larger/successful ones.
The failed coup in 1961 was perpetrated by British military graduates.
Modern qabyalaad itself is something that was promoted by the colonialists.
This is not to say that colonisation is the source of our ills. The source of our ills are stupid Somalis that fell for it.

Somalia is in many ways a casualty of the cold-war. We failed to survive that bullshit and play our cards right. And you realize a lot of the qabiil militias during the civil war were being supplied and trained by outside forces like Ethiopia? And how much trouble Gaalo opportunism (NGOs and such) and looting and bribery has caused since the civil war? It's like people forget that Somalia more or less stabilized itself fairly early on:

But the gaalo weren't happy with the idea of such a regime and basically made the country theirs through AMISOM by way of proxy. One thing you could say is that if Galbeed wasn't cut off from Somalia, there'd be no 77 war, which wouldn't have led to a spiral of events that meant total state collapse.
Aside from that, really there is nothing else, Italians were largely benign compared to Belgians & French.
