How long do you think Al-Shabaab and its proponents attack this woman and her fellow peace advocates in Somalia, specifically Mogadishu?? I get its good to have an optimistic view on things, but recently I'm seeing a lot, and I mean a LOT of things like this happening at the home ground, and it only saddens me as they are hot targets for attacks/kidnappings. Mogadishu and other cities are unfortunately still hotbeds for terror, and this extreme surplus of 'tourists' and people going there confuses me to be honest. The ideology there needs to be defeated first before thinking about visiting and bettering the place as a foreign born Somali, as can be seen in the case of Hodans, Shabaab loyalists don't discriminate on who is to be killed, regardless of innocence.
