How long should talking stage be for marriage?

A year, minimium. You can still encounter nasty suprises even after 3-6months of "talking/dating". You're going to be financially and legally tying yourself to that person

It depends. If it's a random woman, a year. If it's a shy miskeen woman you were set up with by your parents and her parents, it should be a month or two. She will behave if her parents know your parents.

I want to get an impression of how you were raised and know about your ways well before hand. The real question is can I tolerate your dark side indefinitely? The glowing attributes are easy to deal with. If I can deal with your negative then that means marriage is in the cards. Since people don't generally volunteer that sort of information it requires time to unearth.
