How long do you think it will take Somalia to have a defense industry such as pakistan, iran?

If I had to guess probably a 3 years after I'm elected
A long time but Pakistan doesn’t have a defense industry even their fighter jet JF-17 they got help from China most of their weapons they buy from the west/China. Iran on the other hand could help us their drones and missiles are being used in Ukraine and Sudan. North Korea could also help us.
We need enough engineers to actually have a defense industry bro. If you want to start soon you would have to recruit diaspora engineers. This would be a difficult task because you would have to figure out a way to convince niggas in the west to abandoned their well paid engineering gigs.
Start offering some land a decent income if you want diaspora engineers.
Also in regards to natives we would need a proper public education system all across Somalia where our youth attend school from the ages of 5-18 without dropping out. Than some proper universities that are recognized across Somalia and africa.These schools should have great stem departments.Young Somali men and women that have gone down these paths should be the main ones recruited for these defense positions. Relying on diaspora all the time could be risky. Some niggas could be spies.
