ethnicities don’t split off, they settle in different areas and create cultures. This leads to bottlenecking and then they become what they are respectively after a couple thousands or even as small as a couple hundred years.

No not really to be honest, best guess would be 3 thousand years ago.

They were never the same ethnicity to be separating. Oromo it self is a confederation of ethnicities.
