Why do you think I was defending him this whole time. I was shocked that no one knew him. Even though I’ve signed in months ago Im an oldie here (I’ve been here years ago). So I knew this was him. Majority here are newbies so I get the hate even though they have no idea who this funny poster is.

But I realized I didn't emphasize the importance of a sense of purpose, good deeds, meditation, nature and community. @Soul Kaizer go to your local masjid and participate in their local events and be in touch with your diin iyo dhaqan, niyahow. If they have so much as a bbq, ask to be involved with organizing and setting up. I even advise non-Muslims to do the same. Go to your bloody Sunday services and help out at your kanisad. The community participation will do you good. Do other volunteering like at some old people's home or an animal shelter and develop a life-goal that involves something bigger than yourself.
For me, long-term, that's going back to the Horn and making as much of a positive impact for the folks there with the skills I want to polish out in the West and Khaleej as well as money saved up and what's left of my fam's assets someday. Man or woman; people have to have a purpose that involves doing good for others, sxb. Don't be an aimless fool. That purpose can be as simple as wanting to be a good husband and father. No need to dream of being the Emperor of the Horn like me (jk jk
).And all that clubbing, partying etc. should just be stuff you get out of your system when you're young for the most part. Your long-term outgoing activities, in my humble opinion, should be things like the community participation I suggested, hiking, being out in nature even if the nature around you is barren sand dunes (believe, they have their charms). And pray, sxb, and meditate.
One thing I love about praying in Islam is that it's basically a form of meditation. You practice mindfulness and focus your mind and ego on worshipping God. Your mind will wander but you need only gently bring it back to the recitations. If you get good enough at focusing on what you're reciting that your mind is utterly blank on anything but what you're reciting (flow-state of sorts) and you do side-meditation on the side alongside this you'll be a focused machine. Total edge on the average TikTok attention span moderner (🥹).
Anyway, enough essays from me. Back to work and my post.
Would've never thought you were mixed. Its time I come clean and announce I am also half somali (but with a south asian parent). All the Ind**n hate on this site sorta..kinda....made this place less palatable to me.

I thank god everyday for not making me Indian. 1 billion people are the first think you wake up to is a stench so horrible your nose cells die. The street is littered with xaar, feces and trash. The sky is brown and people throw poop at each other.
I even saw the poo concentration map and it’s headed right for us.God help us.
