Just look at the word makeup. What are you making up for ? The things I find ok is eyeliner or lipstick. Other than that it's a no go, because it will age you faster. I think makeup is a drug the woman gets addicted to but can't stop. When they are young they put it on because want to look older. now it mess up there face because it's porous and a face is a spung. Once they get older they want to look young. It's a never ending cycle that can be stop if it's never started.

That's the thing I don't want to be controlling. But like every girl my age (think young college age) is wearing makeup and I think the makeup business is only going to keep growing. Call me insecure but if my girl wears makeup in front of other men I don't like it, she should only try to look good for me.

What I find very funny with this topic when started by a man is that men are indeed clueless. They can’t tell half of the time when a woman is wearing makeup or not. Some women wear a no-makeup look and a man would look at that and think ‘gorgeous!’ Look how much better she looks than these girls who wear makeup?! Also, if you look at what men on average find beautiful, 99% of the time it’s a woman who is plastered in makeup but she doesn’t wear it like she’s a clown.

Anyways, OP this isn’t 2016 anymore when women used to wear drag queen type of makeup. People wear a lot less now and I think seeing women on social media is maybe influencing you. Women now on a day to day basis wear subtle makeup now.

Yep, they deffo do. If you were to hypothetically ask a man to post a girl he deems beautiful who is like a 8+ from his perspective she is someone who is 100% wearing makeup. Even the ones they think aren’t wearing makeup, are wearing makeup. That’s the funny part.

I think social media and makeup to an extent has set the bar high of what a beautiful woman is. I think now, all of us have unrealistic standards that isn’t based on unaltered beauty unfortunately.
