How galmudug seats were divided

How accurate is this and what do you guys think about how the seats were divided

interesting thing out of 83 seats

HG took 22 seats
MX took 15
Murusade took 12
Dir took 8
Dububle took 7
Wacaysle took 7
Sheekhaal took 5
Madhibaan/tumaal took 3

The remaining 4 seats were divided between a variety of clans

Galmudug parliament consist of 89 seats, at the time that list was published consisting of 83 there were 6 seats that were unoccupied.

The relevance of those 6 seats is 2 of them went to Marehan, making our total seats in Galmudug 17 and not 15.

I think we are extremely under represented our current 19% should actually be more like 33%, and this is what we have in the cabinet roughly 33%. In other words we are missing 12 seats and should actually have 29 seats in total same as HG+Duduble.

Waceysle are the clan with the second largest land after HG. They solely inhabit Galgaduud coastline and 20% of β€œGalmudug’s” Mudug.

HSM purposely underrepresented his sub clan in GM during his first term due to them holding the nation’s top seat at the time.

People of different Abgaal subs were supporting two different regional teams at yesterday’s final. Add Banaadir to the mix too. If that isn’t called laandherinimo, I don’t know what is.

You forgot something a lot of people From galmudug are choosing to urbanize in xamar if that trend continues the balance of power in the state will change

@Chaseyourdreamzz Those GM seats were distributed by folks in the Galmudug parliament with a long intention to appear 4.5 friendly and expand Galmudug in the future, even HG are not happy with how their subclans are distributed.

@galhareeri You are right, forget vp, ceelbuur to be a capital, with resource exploration and the completion of Hobyo port is on the table. There will be post AS negotiations, they were originally setup in Galmudugs divided days where some clans did not adequately vote the right people in to bring people like Qoorqoor, there will be decentralisation in GM the most.

Once shabaab is cleared 1m1v should change the power sharing dynamics for anybody unhappy
