How do you guys prep for an interview?

Guys help!!
I’ve never been one to be good at interviews so I automatically just wing them and I blame myself for my laziness and carelessness but I don’t want to do that anymore! I’m tired of my indifferent attitude which I’m pretty sure stems from insecurity and the fear that nothing good is going to happen to me. I am planning to pray tahjuud at night but it’s been so hard for me, I always snooze my alarm. please give me some advise sisters and brothers 💗 btw it’s in a week what would be a good plan ?

What i do is excrise before an interview so by the time it happens your in a chill mood and the anxiety that would happen is lost during the exercise.

However if the time period between the exercise and interview is great enough then you will be anxious again.

a good time difference between the two would be 30 minutes.

Research the company/job as far as possible to know in depth what they do & what you’ll be doing in your (hopefully) new role.

prep all the obvious questions like ‘Tell me about a time that you dealt with an unforeseen problem’ or ‘What is your biggest weakness/strength?’ Use STAR.

have some questions for the interviewer, e.g. ‘What does progression look like in this job?’

Make sure to remember what you stated when you answered any application questions as you may later be asked about that. Same goes for covering letter as the interviewer will likely want to know more about you as an individual & what your background is: especially if the interview is long.

If it’s a video interview, have a neat space visible (plain white wall, uncluttered) and/or blur the background. Dress smartly. Raise camera to eye level.

May Allah make it easy for you, and good luck.

Read the company history and smile while in interview and get 8 hours sleep and you good to go.
