The type of video games I am referring to and the general public would refer to is completely different to the video games mentioned in the article u sent me.

Plus the use of video games is used rarely in medicine anyway, these are only in the beginning stages of use, their is some proof that they could help of some kind, but I doubt their video games they are using has anything to do with our current video games like call of duty etc
the main purpose of it is education, and relieving pain, etc
the ones used for activity is just a substitute for a real solution which is to get people more interactive, I also do not believe a move towards more virtual life scenerios is a good thing in general. I won't be able to comment until we see a big rise in use of these "video games" and see their real effect

ALso I am not against video games in and within themselves, but what they are currently used for in entertainment and across the world is negative

If we used video games for education purposes, I do not believe we should spend all day on it, I believe the same with computers aswell, we should be up and about, but that is more of an issue on the use of video games and not the video games themselves unless the video game is made to be adictive or waste countless hours on
I think the interactive part of video games could allow us to learn new languages, see different cultures, learn new skills, be more interactive, etc etc, as a substitute for ppl who can't actually afford to do it in real life or whatever

Most modern shows have dog shit plot or pure propaganda. There is nothing decent to watch so I started reading books. Only vegetables watch Hollywood these days.
