How Do You Feel About The Entertainment Industry?

What is your view on the entertainment industry? Do you think it's a complex industry? I do like how film is starting to involve automation and cgi in their films mirroring the future.

Total misguidance for the masses, i see it no different to drugs, its for braindead sheep to kill their brains
Why would you equate the entertainment industry to drugs? In a way, they are polar opposites. Yes, drug use does happen in the industry, but that's up to one's choice not the industry as a collective.

A drug is something a person uses to escape their reality by quick enjoyment, that slowly destroys their mind and body
entertainment enacts in the exact same way as drugs
once u get hooked u can't go back, u will eventually be mentally destroyed by all of the messed up stuff you are watching

I understand what a drug is, but I don't get the correlation of you comparing the industry to a drug. In my opinion, it's more complex than that. While the entertainment industry does have an agenda it has put out different films and ideas out. I mainly mean Hollywood by the way. Music is one's perspective. Just my view. To be honest, you can get addicted to anything if you over indulge. There's people who are addicted to working out everyday. When too much working out could be bad for you because you have to give your body rest.

don't compare addictive drugs to working out
working out is not inherently addictive, only a very small percentage of people who work out get addicted and usually that is due to mental health issues not the exercise being addictive in of itself
the media and entertainment industry is here to distract and grab peoples money, misinform them and brainwash them, it is the dream for a capitalist to take advantage of unsuspecting lower to middle class people obsessed with wasting their time being interested in things that have no relevancy to them. It destroys a society, in a subtle way, for some it is pretty clear and no subtle, but for most who grew up in the society it slowly pushes certain mindsets in a sneaky way

If you want the honest truth, it's really an unimportant distraction that a lot of people get obsessed about. Most of these big names in the entertainment industry aren't interested in promoting good ideals and are only interested in making money. Some I assume are good people but they are outnumbered by corrupt individuals.

video games are complete trash they should have never existed in the first place noone should even touch a gaming console or play a minute of a game, a complete waste of time, basically immersing urself in a false reality because ur actual reality is not fun enough
No, but playing videos everyday and not doing anything else will. A lot of people are addicted to video games nowadays.

Video games have helped in the healthcare industry, so they aren't completely trash lol. We call it, virtual reality.

how have video games helped in healthcare industry
"Video games and video game technology have long been used to improve patient safety and patient care through their use as tools to teach doctors. Commercial games have been explored as a means to improve surgical skills, and tailor-made games for medical students have been used to teach clinical skills." - American Psychiatric Association

There's Independent Media, Mainstream Media, and the Web. Which means that there's a plethora of options.

The context of video games I am refering to is normal video game consoles used for the sole purpose of entertainement, which is kinda the point of ur thread
video games in and wihtin themselves can be used for alot of good but that is very rare and clealy not the purpose of them in modern day society
plus in the example u gave it was purely for education or a certain demographic of people not for the general masses and was in a controlled environment not just allowing ppl to play whatever game they want

You literally asked me how videos games helped in the healthcare industry and I retorted. You can't go from asking that question to saying that you meant 'normal' video games.
