How do you deal with cold toilet seats in the winter?

The coming winter I will splurge on a heated toilet seat and will no longer be upset after going to the toilet. I don't like going to the washroom early in the morning before work when it's -30 outside. The cold jolts me out of my sleep whenever I use the cold seat. No longer will I even have to think about it next winter.

I live in a building, it's pretty warm and cozy in the winter besides lately I have been trying to take cold showers after reading about its benefits, I am not there yet but I make a little progress every time I shower.
