how do interfaith marriages work?

the father's religion sometimes doesn't dominate especially since the mother usually has nmore influence over the children
one of my cousins has both muslim parents but the mother used to be buddhist and you can see the mother and the children aren't religious or knowledgeable about the religion at all

I don't think so unless you back it up with evidence. In such couples, mostly women have to change their cultural and religious ways in favor of the Man's ways and they live happily ever after
