How did you end up with the name you have now and what is its meaning?

For me they took hawo, made it a few letters longer and it means praise

Mine according to my mum means rare gem found in the ocean or smthg. Or inside whale idk.

Relatives say it means best of her kind.

Fil-San (fil: generation; san: good); best or good of her gen.

A beautiful appellation of sort, and I actually named my cousin's wife, of German extraction, of a good stock, who now goes by it in family circles.
